Chocolate & Almond butter Superfoods muffins

Prep Time

Cooking Time

20-30 minutes


Mix in a food processor (A normal blender would do just fine)

-1 cup rolled oats

-2 cups almond butter

-1 egg (If omitting this, double the flax seeds)

-1/2 cup flax seeds (if omitting these, add another egg)

-1/2 cup coconut flakes

-1 tbsp cacao powder

-1 tsp vanilla essence/almond extract

-2 cups almond milk/dairy milk 

-1 tbsp Gelatinized Maca


Add later

-1 cup honey (If you like more sweet, add more)

-12 tbsp avocado oil/coconut oil

-1/2 cup shaved almonds

-1 tbsp goji berries

-1 tbsp raisins

-Chopped dried plums and apricots


Mix all ingredients of 'Mix in a food processor'. 

Pour in a mixing dish.

Add all ingredients from the 'Add Later' list

Pour in a baking dish 

Preheat oven to 350 degrees

Bake for 20-30 minutes, checking in between


I used some superfoods in my recipe. Pls note, it is perfectly ok to skip these if you want!
