Black Bean Brownie-Kid and Toddler approved!

Prep Time

10-15 pieces


For food processor

- 15 oz (about 1 3/4 cups) black beans soaked for 5-6 hours or 1 can of 15 oz black beans (rinse and drained)

- 1 tbsp Flaxseed

- 1 tbsp Cacao powder

- 1/2 cup Rolled Oats

- 2/3 cup Organic Maple Syrup

- Pinch of sea salt

- 1/4 cup coconut oil

- 2 tsp Vanilla essence or almond essence

- 1 tbsp Cacao Nibs

- 1/2 tsp Baking powder

- 2 tbsp Almond Butter

Stir in Later

- 1 tbsp Cacao NibsĀ 

- 1/3 cup chopped almonds

- A handful of raisins


Preheat oven to 350 degrees

Add all the ingredients of food processor and 'pulse' till it mixes nicely

If you don't have a grinder, use any mixer you may have

Grease the pan with coconut oil

Add the mixture (I layered it with almonds and raisins)

Add another layer of almonds and raisins on top

Bake for 15-20 minutes (you may need to keep checking depending on the size of your pan)

Let it cool down before cutting
