Almond Milk


Prep Time

6-8 hours of soaking

Cooking Time

5 minutes

Ingredients

1 cup almonds

4 cup water

A dash of sea salt

1 tsp Organic Vanilla Essence

Directions

Soak Almonds for 6-8 hours with sea salt

Drain water and rinse till clear water runs

Run in blender with 2 cups water and vanilla essence

Add remaining 2 cups water and blend again

Strain and store in bottle



Notes

Adding a dash of salt to almonds while soaking will remove more of the phytic acid from them to make them more digestible
